From AnnvixDonations Annvix is not sponsored by any one organization. The project began via funding from Danen Consulting Services in terms of cash and hardware; it continues to provide monthly network access via the co-location server. Donations made to Annvix are not tax deductible; we are not a non-profit organization. We are a group of volunteers working on a common cause and as such are investing large amounts of personal time, effort, and money into the project. We are currently trying to expand our build environment and would really appreciate donations of hardware that would allow us to build and test Annvix across a variety of different platforms. We are primarily interested in the x86 and x86_64 platforms. Donations will be used to purchase new equipment, cover expenses, and reward volunteers for their on-going time and effort. You can donate money to the project via PayPal or by sending a donation cheque in Canadian or US funds. If you wish to mail a donation, please contact vdanen_[at]_annvix_[dot]_org for further details. A number of people are donating in order to get a referral link back to their website. We don't have a problem with this, but we're not stupid either and recognize that the referral links boost page ranking and donating and getting listed here is a cheap way to advertise. If you want a referral link (i.e. you're not an Annvix user but are donating just for the referral link), then I recommend you make a donation in excess of $100USD. Anything less will have your name noted, but without any referral links. The only reason we're making mention of this here is that some people think that a donation of $10 or $15 is enough to get a referral link back to their website and I'm afraid our advertising rates aren't quite that cheap.
